The Club thrives on and survives because of the involvement of member and parent volunteers. From committee positions and social events, to coaching & officiating; parent helpers of the junior section and club run routemasters to our popular Easter 10 race which helps to subsidise your membership fees. If many people give a little, it helps the club run smoothly, to grow and to become even more successful.

The Junior section runs thanks to the continued support of parent helpers. Both Senior & Junior sections require the following to function. You can help in a number of ways and the club will support your qualifications financially and with mentorship from experienced coaches & officials:
- Coaches: Whether you’d like to coach juniors, seniors or both – in track & field disciplines or endurance running then the club would love you to become a coach. Find out more about Becoming a Coach
- Officials: Starting with a simple online course as short as 2 hours, several qualifications are available from England Athletics. If you’re interested check out some of the courses, or email headcoach@maidenheadac.org
The club as a whole needs enthusiastic members. If you have any ideas or would like to get involved, here are some ways:
-
- Put yourself forward for a position on the committee. Email: chair@maidenheadac.org
- Make a suggestion about a social event, or better still, volunteer to help run one. Email: macsocial@maidenheadac.org
- Become a routemaster and help set the routes for club night runs. Email: roadrunning@maidenheadac.org
