Summer Fridays

At Culham Court near Aston on the 22nd June hilly

New for Summer 2018, we are adding five hilly socials for Friday evenings.  That’s in addition to the four flat-ish social pub runs already planned.  There should be something on every other Friday, and we’ll add more dates if the demand is there.

Nine evenings June-September to get the Club away from the clubhouse into the beautiful countryside we have around Maidenhead.  But the formats are quite different.  Social pub runs are typically gentle circular runs of 4-5 miles, with a shorter option for walkers.  Hilly socials are designed as challenging sets, running out-and-back (with proper hills) from the pub on as many variants as you wish.  Hilly socials are a little further afield – to get the required 80-100m climbs in.

Guests are welcome, running or not.

We meet at 18:45 for a briefing, then running starts at 19:00.  The pubs all have food available, gardens and plenty of parking.

Disclaimer: For insurance reasons, we must emphasise that all these runs are at own-risk and for Seniors only.  They take place on quiet lanes and off-road during summer evenings.
