Chiltern League Cross Country
A rather overcast, chilly day in Luton saw round three of the Chiltern League on Saturday 3rd December.  It was good to see some more new faces in the junior teams with some great performances from everyone.  Division two results are as follows:-

MAC was again well represented at the TVCC fixture on Sunday.  Results are in the pipeline.
 
The Mapledurham 10

3 Maidenhead AC runners took on The Mapledurham 10 on Sunday.  It was a lovely sunny morning and ideal running conditions for the 10 mile multi terrain course - run on foot paths, bridleways, woodland trails, private roads and country lanes with some steep hills.
 
First home for the club was Laurence Miles in an impressive 6th place and 1st place in his age category. Gerald Killen was also a winner of his age category.

Junior News
On Saturday 3rd December U15 Lucy Thornton competed in her first indoor Pole Vault Competition and managed a jump of 2m 11cm. Is Lucy the first Pole Vaulter MAC has had?
 
On Sunday 4th December U15 Jake Lewington competed in Windsor, Slough, Eton and Hounslow AC Winter Series competing in 60m indoor in a time of 7.74.
 
Also on Sunday Abbie Jones competed in the Marlow Santa run taking second female place out of 2500 runners.
