Anthony Hall ran the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday 28th May. He finished in 3:14:52.
Greater Manchester Run 10k
Paul Gledhill was one of the 40,000 pounding the streets on Sunday for the Greater Manchester Run 10k which he completed in 50:57.
Whitebrook Wind-Up Half Marathon
Gerry Killen ran the Whitebrook Wind-Up Half Marathon on Sunday 21st May. In the Wye Valley, the course starts along the banks of the river Wye and a disused railway track before a two and a half mile climb up forest tracks and woodland, climbing 600 feet. The reward is a one and half mile downhill stretch through woodland, before going round again.
Gerry’s time was 01:51:34 which also won his age category.
Several of our Maidenhead AC Juniors have been selected for to represent their schools at the Berkshire Schools Track and Field Championships at Palmer Park Reading on Saturday 10th June. Depending on positions and results on the day it could lead to English Schools Track and field qualification which is being held in Birmingham in July.

Abbie Jones - Triple Jump
Raja Khan - Triple Jump
Abbie Jones ran in the Vitality Westminster Mile on Sunday 28th May in the U15 Girls British Championship race. This had some high profile runners in it but Abbie ran it in a new PB of 5:32, coming 13th in a field of 40 runners.
