London Marathon
 
Very well done to the ten MAC members who were among the 40,000 who ran the London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April. New member Tom Easten was first home for the club in 2:41:53.  He was followed by:-

Ex-member Linda Fox ran her 14th marathon, her 4th London marathon finishing in 5:28:58.
 
Sportshall UK Final 
 
Two of our junior members (Luke-Lom Hynes and Adam Ulhaq) were members of the U13 boys Berkshire Sportshall team who won the National Sportshall final in Manchester on Sunday - the first time since 1977.  As well as being in the winning team Adam won individual gold in 2 lap race and 4 x 2 lap relay; and Luke-Lom came second overall in the 6 lap race.

Offa’s Orror
 
On Sunday 23rd April Gerry Killen took part in Offa’s Orror a 20K off road race near Tintern in the Wye Valley. With some very steep hills and rocky descents the race is run mainly along Offa’s Dyke. His time was 01:54:50.

2017 Earley UrbanX 10k
 
Jon Kew ran the Earley UrbanX 10k on Sunday, finishing in 0:40:33.5 (7th position overall).
