Five MAC runners represented the club at the Royal Berkshire 10k on Sunday 21st May, including junior member Jessica Dibley running her first 10k race and Alex Hogg who ran a PB. It was quite warm in the sun, and the route undulated a bit but otherwise it was a big well organised event.
Results are as follows (chip times in brackets):-
Alex Fogg 47:55 (47:28)
Adam Mileham 50:47 (48:34)
Sarah Fogg 53:40 (52:51)
Jessica Dibley 57:27 (55:41)
Lesley Kernaghan 58:21 (57:18)
Abbie Jones took part in the 3k Mini Marathon. Abbie finished 6th overall but she was first female home in a time of 10:29, earning her a well-deserved podium place.

This past weekend a few MAC runners were among the 517 who participated in the 2nd edition of the Binfield 10k. It was a really scenic course, and the race village had a great family atmosphere. Despite the heat, our runners managed really good times on the undulating course around the lanes of Binfield.
Results as follows (chip times in brackets):-
Jon Kew 38:36 (38:34) (2nd in his age category, 10th overall)
Alex del Campo: 42:32 (42:27) (PB)
Simon Goldfinch: 51:26 (51:02)
Alison Attard: 58:31 (58:06)
Stockley Park 10k
Five MAC members took part in the Stockley Park 10k race on Sunday. Conditions were perfect and the race was well organised and the Marshalls encouraging. It was mainly off road, undulating and quite testing. Pauline was 1st in her age group and Dave 2nd in his.
The results are as follows (chip times in brackets):-
Marc Dellasega 49:30 (48:61)
Dave Waterman 54:39 (54:31)
Pauline Siddons 57:16 (57:08)
Helal Stephan 1:08:52 (1:08:10)
Yash Maudgil 1:10:19 (1:09:38)

Windsor Half Marathon River Trail Run
Sandip Bhangoo and Elisa Harris took part in the Windsor Half Marathon River Trail on Sunday 21st May. Sandip was first home for the club in 1:49:31; Elisa finished in 2:08:07 despite suffering from a virus.
Nocturna de Modebar
On Saturday 13th Alex del Campo took part in a very popular night race in his hometown in Spain, called 'Nocturna de Modubar'. It comprises a 13km race along a disused railway track, and features steam train special effects in the tunnel and a fireworks finish. The weather conditions were ideal, and he managed to improve his time from last year by 2 minutes, finishing in 57:11.
