MAC News Report

1st August 2017

Junior news

On Saturday 29th July two of our athletes Hannah Britton and Isla Page represented Berkshire at U13 Inter-county track and field meeting at Kingston. Isla ran the 100m and Hannah competed in the Long Jump. Isla was also part of the relay team; both girls did very well despite awful weather conditions.

On Sunday 30th July MAC junior girls competed in the Alder Valley Match three at Palmer Park Reading. There were many great performances on the day but as we are still awaiting results the full report will be in next week’s newsletter. One notable performance was Annie Jonkers winning the U11 Long Jump which now puts her No 2 in the country in her age group.
