City2Surf 14k
While on their trip to Australia, on Sunday 13th August Benita and John Scaife ran Sydney's City2Surf. The 14k course starts in Hyde Park in the city centre and finishes at Bondi beach. Although a net downhill it is very undulating and proved quite a challenge for the 67,873 finishers on a sunny and unseasonably warm (21 c) day. They finished in 1:31:26 and Benita was 97th in her age/gender category out of 1,071. There can't be many races in the world with more than 1,000 F60s.
