Cliveden Cross Country
On Sunday 7th December thirty two MAC members were among the 600 runners who took part in the scenic but challenging Cliveden Cross Country.  It was a crisp, cold morning with a chilly wind but generally good running conditions for tackling the flight of 172 steps from up from the river (twice). Adam Stage was first home for the club in a time of 40:33, finishing 18th overall.  Ellen Easten was first lady; and Pauline Siddons and Dave Waterman were both first in their age category. Parkrun News
Mac members have been competing in parkruns all over the world! Following the last report (before Christmas) Brian Roles has steadily improved his time at Hamilton Lake parkrun (in New Zealand) to 27:29 on the 23rd December and 27:11 on the Christmas Day. On the 23rd there was a family of 4 "Wokingham Nutters” and a speedster from Headington RRC in the 200+ runners. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky for the Christmas Day Park run which had an 8am start and a turnout of 125. Brian is due back home mid-January but may compete in the parkrun again before he leaves.
The Ralphs family have been parkrunning in Singapore in very warm conditions with a 7:30 am start.

Sarah Fogg took part in the Cottesloe Parkrun in Perth on 23rd December.

The Club would like to welcome two new members: Steve Overbury and Marika Karavan.
